Become an Ormiston Farmer

Ormiston Free Range is committed to supporting farmers who are interested in sustainable and welfare friendly methods of pork production that reflect the Mudgee Farm. We understand that the best way to grow good pigs is in small groups of up to 25 sows which is manageable for both the animals and the farmer. To this end we welcome enquiries from enterprising farmers who would like to grow pork ‘our way’ for Ormiston Free Range to supplement their income.

There are two ways that you can do this:

1. If you have free range sows that meet our strict standards and are in the Central West Region we are interested in buying piglets from the ages of 6-10 weeks to grow on our Ormiston Farm.

2. If you would like to grow pork and benefit from higher than market prices to acknowledge the time and effort involved to produce proper pork, you can become an Ormiston Farmer.
